Garden City Middle School, 6th Grade “Sun Safety” Presentation with the assistance of Drs. Ted Daly (Garden City Dermatology) and Dr. John Clarke (“the physician musician”). All students will receive hats, downloads of Dr. Clarke’s song, and our “Have You Checked Your Skin Lately?” brochures, after viewing “The Dark Side of the Sun”, and participating in a Q&A discussion forum with Dr. Daly.

Mollie’s Fund will provide sunscreen and skin cancer information at the Pal-O-Mine 4th Annual Putters for Ponies Golf Outing.

Members will hear panel presentations from: dermatologist, Dr. Marnie Nussbaum, MD, Julie Biggane (Mollie’s Fund), a representative from the Melanoma Research Alliance and Monique Moore (Mott 50). Attendees will receive our educational and prevention literature.

NYU Langone Medical Center’s Farkas Auditorium — New York, NY
Mollie’s Fund co-sponsors with NYU Cancer Institute’s Community Outreach and Education Program a free skin cancer awareness seminar at NYU Langone Medical Center’s Farkas Auditorium.
Mollie’s Fund supplied preventative materials through public health nursing to farm workers and high school students (Spanish and English) in San Mateo, California.
Mollie’s Fund supported programs in the Wilsonville, Alabama schools by providing educational materials for students on sun safety.
